Beautiful Wedding on the Shores of Lake Michigan | Megan & Josh



I loved shooting this beautiful wedding in Muskegon, MI! We had so many great locations to shoot like downtown, an old train station and of course beautiful Lake Michigan! This sweet couple was so laid back all day, I remember walking out to the lake, to capture the photo above, Phi and I hung back to watch them; the whole walk out they were so playful with each other, you could see how happy and strong this relationship was!



 

Getting Ready in Muskegon, MI


Like most of the weddings we shoot, we arrived early for hair and Make-up and spent the whole day with the couple. I love working as a team with Phi because I'm able to stay with the girls as they get ready and Phi eventually slips off to capture a few awesome groom moments.

The girls spent the afternoon relaxing poolside before heading to the church.

They caused a big splash...but everyone's hair and makeup stayed in tact.

One of our favorite moments to capture on a wedding day is that moment the father see's his beautiful baby girl. There are always so many emotions, these photos speak volumes and are photos the family will treasure for years to come.

The Ceremony


Megan and Josh were married in Megan's childhood church in Muskegon, Michigan. The beautiful ceremony was very sweet and traditional. I captured many photos from a church balcony while my second shooter was on the same level as the bride and groom.

Capturing the Bridal Party


Megan and Josh already had a good idea of where they wanted us to capture many of their photos. We visited downtown, this old train station and the Marina where they had their first date!
