Congratulations on your engagement and hank you for checking out Photo House! The best way to know if we are a good fit is to sit down with us over a cup of coffee or we're talk over the phone. We know you're busy so we will work around your schedule. We'll talk about your love story, how you envision your wedding day and go over the packages we have to offer.

If you decide we are a good fit for your wedding photography needs we will send out a contract and invoice for the retainer fee which will get your wedding on our calendar.
Our couples choose to invest in engagement sessions for a few reasons.
1. To experience our process and to get comfortable with our camera gear and being in front of the camera.
2. Engagement is such a sweet time in a couples life! Capturing their sweet love and who they are in this fleeting time is so special and make for love filled photos!
Your wedding day is booked! This is where it gets even more fun, we will send you a small gift in appreciation for booking with us. From there we will also set up a day to have dinner! We believe it is so important to get to know our couples! We do our best to spend time with you and get to know you on a more personal level so you're comfortable with us on your wedding day! This helps you feel at ease while we are photographing your special day.

BOOKING YOUR WEDDING

PRE-WEDDING DAYS
Leading up to your wedding day we try to take as much stress off of you as possible!

1. One month before your wedding day, you will fill out a pre-wedding questionnaire so we can get a better idea of all the important people/places/things that will partake on your wedding day. The pre-wedding questionnaire will also help prepare you and I with the flow of your wedding day timeline, family portraits, any special locations in mind etc.
​
2. We know how different and unique each wedding is so we will go over all questions and concerns a few weeks prior to your wedding to make sure we are well prepared for all the special details of your wedding day!

The day you have been dreaming about is finally here!!

This is YOUR day and it is all about you and your future partner. Let's have fun and enjoy this amazing day, it goes quick so soak it all up! Phi and I will be there the whole day capturing moments, memories, emotions and all the pretty little details. We will be there to help make sure everything runs as smooth as possible!

AFTER YOUR WEDDING

Waiting for your wedding photos to be delivered can feel like forever, to help pass the time, we will deliver a sneak peek of your photos within 1 week of your wedding day.
​

Delivery of your entire wedding collection will be within 3 months. This beautiful online gallery can be shared with friends and family. You can also download all photos in high resolution and order prints through the best professional photo lab. You may also print photos from any place you choose. This will be everything that we discussed in your package with the exception of albums and prints.

1. Do you always shoot together?
Yes, When we are hired as photographers! We LOVE shooting weddings together, so you'll never see us shooting photography apart.

If you hire us to photograph and video your wedding we have a few different options to go over, this will be discussed over a call.
​
2. How would you describe your shooting style?
We have a fun candid-documentary style with an editorial flare! We love to capture you and your guests in the moment but we also have a great time directing the bridal party and the couple. We use micro-posing to get the editorial look and have you move through that pose to get beautiful candid moments through each pose.
​
3. What's your turnaround time?
We go through every image we take! Carefully and thoughtfully picking each photo to edit. Sneak peek photos will be sent to you within a week while the final gallery will be delivered within 8-12 weeks.
​
4. How many images can we expect?
We want to provide as many awesome photos as we can without giving you "filler photos.) On average we deliver 500-800 photos per full wedding gallery.
​
5. Do you have a travel fee within the state of Michigan?
We do have a travel fee when we travel more than 100 miles outside of Grand Rapids (lodging required outside of 150 miles)
​
6. Do you travel out of state?
YES! We are willing to travel, We'll create a custom quote for you based on your location and we'll take care of booking our travel! All you have to do is worry about planning your big day and we'll see you there <3
​
7. Do you offer Videography?
YES! Up until the fall of 2022 our main focus was on photography. While this remains Meghan's focus, Phi is diving into videography and we brought on an associate to help on days we shoot as photographers and videographers. Head over to our Videography page to learn more!

4. Why Should we hire Photo House to capture our big day?
Having beautiful photos from your wedding day is as important to me as it is to you. We are honored, and delighted that couples hire us as a visual storyteller for their wedding day.
