December 8th was a beautiful day for a Christmas inspired wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We joined Andrew and Sarah at New Vintage Place in the early afternoon, getting detail and preparation shots then heading right into the first look.
The first look was held in the courtyard at New Vintage Place. Andrew and Sarah shared this quiet moment, taking in each other and all the excitement before moving into couples portraits and formals with the full bridal party. Shortly after everyone jumped on a bus and headed over to St. Jude's Catholic Church for the Ceremony.
The traditional Catholic ceremony was simply beautiful. The joy on their faces was evident as they were pronounced husband and wife! Once the marriage license was signed and a few more photos were snapped it was back on the party bus.
When we arrived back at New Vintage place we decided to grab a few more formal shots of Andrew and Sarah before joining the guests inside for cocktail hour. Joy was in the air while everyone enjoyed drinks and games. The large reception room was decorated beautifully with miniature Christmas trees, winter greenery, and Edison fairy lights making the room feel extra cozy for this Holiday inspired wedding. The newlyweds made their entrance into the reception with wonderful toasts and an evening of dancing to follow!
