Alicia and John were married on a beautiful Autumn afternoon in Grand Rapids, Michigan! While the main events were held at The Rutledge we had the opportunity to explore downtown with the bridal party, capturing lots of fun photos along the way!
The ceremony was held inside The Rutledge in front of the large front windows overlooking Ionia Street. The lights were turned down low as Alicia and her father walked down the Aisle. Led by Alicia's sister this ceremony was full of love, laughter, and joy. It was wonderful to witness the union of these two beautiful souls.
The Reception was decorated with black table linens, candles and jewel toned flowers creating a beautiful and romantic atmosphere. Shortly after the bridal party was announced Alicia and John went right into cutting the cake followed by heartfelt toasts. After a delicious dinner we headed out for our favorite part of the day... sunset photos!
Once we arrived back the newlyweds kicked off dancing with their first dance! Then the dance floor officially opened and it was full for the remainder of the night! The joy that filled the room was contagious, everyone at this wedding was having absolute blast!
