August 22, 2020; what a wonderful day it turned out to be for a romantic wedding on the farm. Everything from the gorgeous, late summer weather to the stunning ceremony and reception locations this day was absolutely perfect and we are so thrilled we were able to capture it!

Getting Ready

We arrived in Hart, MI just after noon to start documenting this perfect day. Our first stop of the day was the hair salon- Hairporte where Kassidy and her bridesmaids were getting started. They were all so laid back, enjoying mimosas and light conversations while getting their hair and make-up done. We captured just a few moments here before heading to Kassidy's childhood home to photograph details for the day to come <3

Caleb and his groomsmen arrived at the farm just before 2pm. They enjoyed a few beverages, pizza, and many laughs before putting on their finishing touches. It was a pleasure working with this great group of men and we loved hearing so many great stories from Caleb's childhood!

The First Look

Caleb and Kassidy chose to do their first look before the ceremony, giving them more time to enjoy the moment. The ceremony site was set up so beautifully we decided it would be the perfect spot for this moment to go down.

The Ceremony

Originally Caleb and Kassidy were going to have there ceremony at a different location, due to Covid many changes needed to be made. Kassidy's neighbor offered to host their ceremony on his property and we find it hard to believe any location would be better than this! Kassidy grew up roaming this beautiful farm and she was able to marry her best friend in such a meaningful place. With wide open fields, a beautiful red barn and under a giant Maple tree the ceremony was absolutely magnificent..

The Reception

The reception was held at the Oceana County Council on Aging building in Hart, Michigan. Surrounded by beautiful fields of corn, this was a great location for a summer evening reception!
