A few months ago our Photo House team had the privilege of documenting this stunning wedding in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Rachel and Kyle had a traditional ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Andrews with the reception to follow at the Harris Building.
The Ceremony:
Held at the stunning Cathedral of St. Andrews in Downtown Grand Rapids, this quickly became one of our favorite churches to work in. The architecture is breathtaking with it's stained glass windows, gold accents and starry blue vaulted ceiling we can't think of a more romantic cathedral to say "I do" in. Once the traditional ceremony was complete Kyle and Rachel made their way back down the aisle with guests meeting them on the steps for a bubble send off!
The Reception:
Held at The Harris Building; a gorgeous industrial style building just around the corner from the Cathedral! The combination of exposed brick walls, candle decor, and soft lighting created a truly romantic ambiance. Rachel and Kyle made their grand entrance then went straight into speeches. We snuck out for a few shots just outside of the Harris Building for "golden hour." Upon returning the newlyweds shared their first dance.
We believe that a wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and our role as photographers and videographers is to document the most important moments in a way that will be cherished for years to come. Rachel and Kyle's wedding was a perfect example of this.
In the end, we hope our team captured the essence of Rachel and Kyle's special day. The love, joy, and romance that filled the air are preserved in their photographs and wedding video, serving as a lasting reminder of the beginning of their journey together.
