We met Riley and Ben downtown Kalamazoo for a few urban style photos. Pictures in the city, especially on gloomy days, end up being some of my favorite shots. Something about the softness of overcast days, its an entire mood.
We knew we were going to be shooting at a second location and had originally planned on Asylum Park however when we scouted locations we were sad to find the grass completely burned and there were no signs of beautiful spring so Riley kindly recommended this stunning location; Al Sabo Nature Preserve. Just as we were arriving it was a little misty but cleared up just long enough for us to get through this session <3
The love between these two is so sweet, I loved seeing little moments of their personalities shine through during the session... and the way they look at each other...just wow! We wish for everyone to have this type of genuine love.
