Carlie and John were married on the beautiful day of September 18th 2021. We arrived at the Lakeview Banquet Center to capture Carlie and the girls getting ready inside while the John and his brother put on the finishing touches outside under the beautiful willow tree.
Carlie had so many beautiful details and we loved incorporating all the fall decor and colors!

Carlie and John had their first look at the Lakeview Banquet Center just before heading to the Peoples Church in Lansing Michigan.

John and Carlie were married at the Peoples Church in Lansing, Michigan surrounded by so many loved ones. This church held a lot of meaning for Carlie because her parents had been married there too! Throughout the day we were able to recreate similar images and listen to sweet stories about her parents being there many years before.

After the ceremony we headed to the Michigan State University Horticulture Gardens! We had such beautiful weather and really enjoyed this time with the bridal party.
The wedding reception was held at the Lakeview Banquet Center in Laingsburg, Michigan.

The best man kicked off the toasts at the start of the reception with Carlie's bridesmaids to follow. We loved hearing all the kind words shared and funny stories told <3

Carlie and John arranged a song for Carlie's sister to share in the parent dances. She was married during the covid shut down and originally missed out on this moment.
Everyone had such a wonderful time at this wedding! We love seeing so many family and friends celebrating this wonderful couple.
John had one last surprise for the wedding guests. He arranged to sing "Friends in Low Places" by Garth Brooks. Everyone loved his performance.
We loved capturing John and Carlie's wedding day and wish them so much love and happiness in the years to come!
